Alango Technologies announced the compliance of its Voice Communication Package (VCP) with ITU-T P.1100/P.1110
Tirat Carmel, Israel (November 23, 2015) - Alango Technologies Ltd., a global leader in automotive hands-free voice communication systems, announced full compliance with ITU-T P.1100/P.1110 of its Voice Communication Package (VCP). Class "Type 1" full duplex echo cancellation has been documented together with perfect voice quality scores, while all other tests were inside the standard specified limits. The specific products tested for compliance were VCP, Generation 7 and - soon to be released - VCP, Generation 8. The test reports are provided to Alango's customers upon request.
Implementations of hands-free voice communication systems have steadily increased due to legislative initiatives that recognize the importance of driver awareness for the safe operation of an automobile. ITU-T P.1100/P.1110 is the recognized standard for quality requirements and measurement methodology for automotive hands-free terminals.
Alango's VCP is a universal software package for many different processing environments. VCP enables high quality, full duplex, noise and echo free communication in hands-free automotive and a wide range of other applications.
